AUBURN – Sam’s Italians stayed unbeaten in the Auburn Suburban Senior League with a 7-0 win over East Auburn. Cody Goddard hurled a sparkling 1-hitter. He walked the first batter, Billy Brewster, then struck out the next 10 hitters. The lone hit by Kyle Bussiere came in the top of the seventh. Bussiere stole third but was stranded when Goddard fanned the next 3 hitters to finish with 18 K’s.

LEWISTON – Following are recent results in the Major Division of the Elliot Little League:

Dube 10, Aubuchon 3. Ben Wigant scored 4 runs and Caleb Leino 2, while Cam Bussiere collected the win on the mound. The Aubuchon effort was led by David Cusson and Bryan Hall each with one run apiece. . . Dube 5, Poussard 4 (8 innings). Dakota Keene smacked two hits, including a double, and scored the game-winning run. Alex Gregoire contributed 2 hits. Chris Madden smacked a double and two singles for the Poussard effort, while Sam Morin and Coby Poussard combined to pitch a strong game. . . Healey and Associates 4, Dube 3. Ian Theriault struck out eight batters, Connor Anthoine walloped hit a homer, while catcher Matthew Bouchard made a key play to end the game. Caleb Leino, Josh Bussiere, and Dakota Keene all legged out a triple, while Brian Wigant hit a double for Dube.
