LEWISTON – The Maine Reentry Network recently awarded Lisa Hartnett, Western Maine Community Action employee at the Lewiston CareerCenter, a Partner’s Achievement Award for outstanding service. Hartnett assists offenders returning to the community from jails or prison in finding and maintaining work. She was recognized for exceptional contributions to her CareerCenter customers and the community.

The Maine Reentry Network is a partnership of public and private organizations at the state, county and local levels that work to promote the successful transition of young offenders. Currently it works with approximately 390 ex-offenders ages 16-25 who are returning to the Maine counties of Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec, Knox, Penobscot and Washington.
