LEWISTON – Dwight A. Ogden Sr., 66, of 143 Mill St., Auburn, passed away Friday, June 23, at CMMC, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Webster Plantation on June 30, 1939, he was the son of Gilbert and Leona Brown Ogden.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing horseshoes, fishing and watching his grandchildren at play. He was a proud father and grandfather.
He served the U.S. Marine Corps in Paris Island, S.C., from 1956-1962 and was employed at various shoe factories in the twin cities.
He is survived by his three sons, Dwight and companion, Mandy, of Mechanic Falls, Robert and wife, Theresa, of Lewiston, and Kevin and wife, Kimberly, of Poland; his two daughters, Tammy of Auburn and Tracey and companion, Joe, of Auburn; his lifetime companion and mother to his five children, Carol Munroe of Auburn; four siblings, Winnona Woodberry of South Portland, Keith Ogden of Portland, Fred Joy of Hiram and his twin sister, Delight Vaughn of Conway S.C.
He was predeceased by his parents; an infant son, Corey Ogden; and one brother, Elden Joy.
