SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Gloria Mae Miller, 79, passed away June 22, at the Shippensburg Health Care Center, where she resided for the past year.

She was born on Feb. 13, 1936 in Phillips, a daughter of the late Gerold and Ruth (Kennedy) Toothaker Sr. She was one of 12 children.

She spent most of her adult years traveling. She settled in Maine for awhile, and later moved to Pennsylvania and lived in the Orbisonia area for 11 years. She then returned to Maine, and returned to the Shippensburg area 11 years ago.

She very much enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo and going to the Senior Citizen Center for meals.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy (Miller) Brown of Shippensburg, Pa,; a son, Gary Miller of East Dixfield; 10 grandchildren, Jenny, Jamie, Jawon, Michael, Jacob, Jordan, Ashley and Leslie of Shippensburg, Pa. and Herbert and Brittany of Maine; five great-grandchildren, MaeKayla, Branson, Matthew and Camdyn of Pennsylvania and Melody of Maine; siblings, Gerold Jr., Gordon, Glana, Genelle, Glen, Glenda, Gae and Geri, all from Maine.

She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Glidden (Tuffy), Gaylen (Tarzy) and Glendon (Joe) all of Maine.
