Aces were wild the past two weeks, as four area courses were the site of holes-in-one.

Bob Cielinski enjoyed his moment on the 110-yard 15th hole at Prospect Hill Golf Course in Auburn. He used a pitching wedge. Son-in-law Jay Collier and grandson Joshua Collier witnessed the feat.

Roger Ivey of Calais made the most of his visit to Poland Spring Inn. He aced the 150-yard No. 6 at the neighboring golf course with a 7-iron. His friends Walter, Wayne and Steve looked on.

At Paris Hill Country Club, Harold Foster plucked his gem on the 125-yard sixth.

Jim Kidder rounded out the quartet last Friday, sinking his first career hole-in-one on the 138-yard No. 7 at Wilson Lake Country Club in Wilton. Stewart Durrell, Lonney Steeves and Jeff Rosenberg observed Kidder’s pinpoint poke with a 9-iron.
