RUMFORD – Lucienne “Lucy” Bernard, 80, died Monday, June 26, at Rumford Hospital. She had resided at the Rumford Community Home on John F. Kennedy Lane, Rumford and was formerly of Fairfield, Conn., and Largo, Fla.
She was born in Rumford on Aug. 2, 1925, a daughter of Elzear and Jeanine (Robert) Blouin and had attended Rumford schools.
Lucy worked for Remington-Rand in Bridgeport, Conn., until retirement. She was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford.
Survivors include two brothers, Arthur Blouin and wife, Arlene, of Rumford and Leo Blouin and wife, Janette, of Rumford; two sisters, Germaine Blouin of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Simone Suggs of San Antonio, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Roland, Maurice and Sylvio; and a sister, Gabrielle Casey.
