DIXFIELD – Funeral services for Eugene Blaisdell were conducted Friday at the Dixfield Congregational Church, Dixfield, with the Rev. John Gensel officiating. Organist was Cynthia Libby. Special recorded music was “God Only Cries” and hymn selections were “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In The Garden.” The eulogy was given by his son, Bruce Blaisdell and words of remembrance were given by Hart Daley, Phil Mans and Gary Austin. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Gensel and interment was at Greenwood Cemetery, Dixfield. Pallbearers were Scott Blaisdell, Bruce Blaisdell, Jay Blaisdell, Chris Blaisdell, Kim Micks and Ryan Robbins. A reception followed at the home of Joy and Clinton Bradbury in West Peru. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
