LEWISTON – Funeral services for Shannon J. Fortier were held Wednesday morning at Holy Family Church following prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home.

The Rev. James Morrisson officiated at the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery, where interment followed. He was assisted by the Rev. Antonin Caron.

A delegation from the Air Force Junior ROTC program was in attendance, as well as a contingency from the Air Force.

Also, a delegation of acolytes from Holy Family Church were in attendance, and representation was present from the Lewiston and Auburn Veterans’ Council, the Franco-American War Veterans and the VFW Post 9150, also of Lewiston.

Pallbearers were Ken Fortier, John Ward, Dave Larrivee, Joe Muenzer, Joe Blythe and Vic Franceschini.
