AUBURN – The Auburn Teen Library Advisers invite area teens to the annual teen pizza party/book swap from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, at the Auburn Public Library.
Teens are invited to bring one or more books to the library and swap for other books. At the same time they can hang out with other teens, eat pizza and win door prizes. Teens who attend will be entered in a drawing to be held the third week in August for a portable DVD player.
Beginning Saturday, July 1, the summer version of the teen online book discussion will begin at the Auburn Public Library. Teens will read “Eragon” by Christopher Paolini, who wrote the fantasy title when he was 15. Eragon is a tale about a poor teen living during medieval times who finds a beautiful shiny stone that turns out to be a dragon.
In order to participate in the discussion, teens will need to contact Sally Holt at [email protected] or call 333-6640, ext. 2008, for more information and the Web address. Some copies of “Eragon” are available in the library.
