Vermont school awards degrees

BURLINGTON, Vt. – The following local students were awarded degrees during the May commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont:

Nicholas J. Grenier of Lewiston received a BA degree. Grenier was a English major in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Johannes N. Seywerd of Manchester received a BS degree. Seywerd was a biochemistry major in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Elizabeth C. Patry of Minot received a BSED degree. Patry was a Secondary education science major in the College of Education and Social Services.

Ryan J. Sterling of Minot received a BS degree. Sterling was a environmental studies major in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources.

Nicholas C. Dearnley of Monmouth received a BA degree. Dearnley was a political science major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
