Strawberry sale

MEXICO – The fourth annual strawberry sale will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Congregational United Church, 163 Maine St. Volunteers will pick fresh strawberries and sell them by the quart in front of the church. To reserve some berries to be picked up that morning or for more information, call 364-8603 and leave your name and phone number and you will be called back with prices and a confirmation.

Museum exhibit

WOODSTOCK – The most recent special exhibit at the Woodstock Historical Society Museum is composed of many travel books including some with popular destinations like Great Britain, France and Italy.

In the past two years the museum has featured exhibits on such topics as Indian women plates, costume jewelry, postcards and gardening. Most are organized by Curator Larry Billings.
