AUBURN – Funeral services for Gerard Deschaine were held Thursday at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. Deacon Denis Mailhot officiated at the service and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Eulogies were offered by a daughter Eda Tripp and by a grandson Ray Walsh. After committal prayers, Taps was played and the American flag was formally presented to his widow, Carmel Deschaine. Pallbearers were Artie Walsh, Harod Bridgham, Al Lucarelli II and Frank Lucarelli.
