MECHANIC FALLS – Marylin Newell recently attended facilitator training in Minneapolis that certifies her to organize and deliver two-day Lead Like Jesus Encounters. A Lead Like Jesus Encounter is a two-day transformational seminar that looks at Jesus as a role model for leadership.

Newell plans to offer Lead Like Jesus Encounters to various groups of Christian business leaders, pastors and church leaders beginning in July. The events will be held for small groups in the classroom of Life Matters in Mechanic Falls and at other locations throughout the state. She will also facilitate private Encounters for churches, organizations and businesses at their locations.

Newell is the president of Life Matters in Mechanic Falls and is an experienced seminar leader and executive coach. A Lewiston native, she is the former president of McIntosh College in Dover, N.H., and Andover College in Portland.
