NORWAY – Natalie R. Trask, 86, a resident of 38 Hackett Road, Poland, died Thursday afternoon at Stephens Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 22, 1919, the daughter of Clarence and Murriel B. (Carey) Curtis. As a young girl, Natalie moved to Cambridge, Mass., until her marriage to her husband, Cecil, on Aug. 8, 1944, and moved back to Maine to raise her family.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Auburn, the Auburn Senior Citizens, Ladies Circle of United Methodist Church of Auburn and Lewiston Grange No. 2.

Her hobbies included jigsaw puzzles and word search. She also loved birds.

Natalie’s family was appreciative that she was always there for each one of them, and also catered to her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Cecil L. Trask and his wife, Helenetta, of Auburn, and Nathan E. Trask of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one daughter, Murriel Berry of Hebron; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil; and two brothers, Buster and Carey Curtis.
