In a previous letter to the editor, I asked the Twin Cities of Lewiston and Auburn to consider unification of both cities to create Great Falls, Maine.
In reading your editorial of June 28, I concur with your analysis.
While these highly educated administrators of Lewiston and Auburn’s debate the recommendations of the Lewiston-Auburn Joint Services Commission and debate the number of ply in the rolls of toilet paper to be jointly purchased, they seem to miss the elimination of key positions that unification of the Twin Cities would bring.
