SABATTUS – Robert G. Valliere, 63, of Marie Circle, Sabattus, died Friday morning, June 30, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 26, 1942, the son of Ernest Valliere and Leona Muse. He was educated in Lewiston schools and served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

He was married June 8, 1963, to Joanne Mosher, and owned and operated Valliere’s Carpet and Lino Co.

Bob was passionate about cooking and enjoyed making Sunday dinner for his family and extended family. He also loved painting, camping and spending time with his nine grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne, of Sabattus; two daughters, Tammy L. McCarthy and husband, John, of Lewiston, and Michelle L. Bureau and husband, John, of Auburn; two sons, Robert G. Valliere Jr. and wife, Darcey, of Lyman, and Michael Valliere and wife, Trisha, of Sabattus; and nine grandchildren, Damian, Calvin, Katelyn, Kara-Lynn, Owen, Kylie, MacKenzie, Madison and Reganne.
