LEWISTON – Pauline D. Tanguay, 70, of 14 Sabattus Creek, Lisbon, died Saturday, July 1, at Central Maine Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on April 16, 1936, the daughter of Emanuel and Edna Giguere and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was a homemaker throughout most of her life.

She was a member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church in Lewiston.

She enjoyed playing music. She was a very active member in Christian music groups and had produced two tapes of her own music “Come, Be My Disciple” and “The Healed Heart.”

She has touched many hearts and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Raymond A. Tanguay, whom she married on Oct. 2, 1954, of Lisbon; one daughter, Rachel Trusselle of South Berwick; two granddaughters, Megan and Jessica Trusselle of South Berwick; one brother, Joseph Giguere and his wife, Constance, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
