BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Celtics on Tuesday signed first-round draft pick Rajon Rondo, who was selected 21st overall in last week’s draft.

The University of Kentucky star was selected by Phoenix and traded to Boston on draft night. The Celtics did not disclose terms of the contract.

The 6-foot-1 guard entered the draft after his sophomore season, when he averaged 11 points, six rebounds and nearly five assists per game.
