AUBURN – Kaitlin Mador has earned the title of 2006 Maine state champion from the American Taekwondo Association.
Mador scored first place in the sparring, weapons and forms divisions.
She competes in regional and national tournaments throughout the year.
Mador recently traveled to Las Vegas, Nev., and successfully met the requirements for her second degree black belt.
Mador trains at the ATA Black Belt Academy in Falmouth, where she is an instructor trainee. She is entering eighth grade at Trinity Catholic School in the fall.
