Two more holes-in-one highlighted local golf action this week.

Jim Bowden made the most of his new Callaway driver, using it to card a hole-in-one on the par-3 13th hole at Poland Spring Country Club. Pete Leighton witnessed Bowden’s ace on the 238-yard hole.

At Paris Hill Country Club, Doug Miles dropped his only shot into the cup on the eighth hole. Miles hit a lofting, 8-iron shot that bounced up and onto the green with a slight roll to the right for the hole-in-one. Poland Spring
