Ian Connor Crouch, son of John E. Crouch and Poppy Connor-Crouch of Poland, graduated May 14 from Duke University in Durham, N.C., summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts in English.

Crouch received highest distinction for his senior thesis. In April he was elected to Duke’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. Crouch attended the Poland Community School and is a 2002 graduate of Edward Little High School.
