Marcy Alexandra Muller received her juris doctor degree cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law as well as a master’s degree in public policy and management from the Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service in May.

She spent the summer of 2004 as an intern with Atlanta Legal Aid Society of Cobb County, Ga. Under the auspices of the Bernstein Fellowship, she spent the summer of 2005 as a law clerk in Skowhegan District Court. Muller studied international law abroad last fall at the National University of Ireland in Galway.

Muller was recognized at graduation for her time spent doing pro bono work throughout her law school career with the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project. In 1998, she received an appointment from then Gov. Angus King to serve on the state Juvenile Justice Advisory Group, a post she held until 2004.

Muller is a 1998 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in sociology in 2002 from the University of Southern Maine. She will be sitting for the Maine Bar Exam at the end of July and hopes to stay in southern Maine to practice law. She is the daughter of Randy and Kathy Muller of Farmington.
