BOWDOINHAM – Roger P. Robert Sr., 80, of Bay Road, passed away at his residence on Friday, July 7.
He was born in Lewiston on Dec. 12, 1925, the son of Henry and Beatrice (Lessard) Robert.
Roger proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Richmond American Legion Post No. 132.
Roger enjoyed dancing, being in the woods, political banter and particularly time spent with his family.
He is survived by his companion, Pearl Moody; daughter, Cathy Rice; sons, Roger Robert and wife, Kim, David Robert, Gil Robert, Shawn Robert, Paul Robert and wife, Christie; stepchildren, Erlene Gagnon, and Brenda, Robin and Stuart Proulx; brothers, Michael, Camille, and Claude and Richard Robert; sisters, Janine Rancourt and Noella Robert; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wives, Hope Robert, Sonja Robert and Joan Robert; his parents; son, Daniel Robert; sister, Theresa Robert; and brothers, Ivan and Reginald Robert.
