Martindale Country Club of Auburn and The Meadows Golf Club of Litchfield each yielded a hole-in-one last Friday.

Ernie Ashton carded his ace Friday on the fourth hole at Martindale. Ashton used a 7-wood from 173 yards. Mike Tiner, Bob Brickel and Claude Heutz witnessed his accomplishment.

Leo Lever of Whitefield dropped his 8-iron shot from 120 yards into the cup on the 17th at The Meadows. Lever landed his hole-in-one during a Central Maine Seniors tournament. Galen Perkins, Bob Coates and “Lefty” looked on.
