TURNER – Kora Shrine will host its second annual Car Show and Fly In from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 16, at Twitchell’s Airport on Route 4.

The event will occur rain or shine and will include a car show (over 350 cars on display in 2005), airplane displays/flyovers, a free Masonic child identification program and food concessions. General admission is $5 per person; children 5-12, $2; under 5, free.

A total of 29 trophy classes will be judged, as well as a Cruisin’ New England Magazine Best of Show award to one car-show participant. In addition to the vehicles, several unique planes including two bi-planes will be on display.

For more than 80 years, Shriners Hospitals for Children have provided medical care, totally free of charge, to about 735,000 children with orthopedic problems, severe burns and spinal cord injuries. Founded in 1922 and supported by more than 450,000 members of the international Shriners fraternity, this network of pediatric specialty hospitals is located across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
