LEWISTON – The local farmers’ market opens today with fresh vegetables, free flowers, face painting and music. The market will be held weekly from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Kennedy Park near the corner of Bates and Pine streets.
The market’s third season will see offerings of fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, cooking demonstrations, free recipes and food samples, and booths with information on health and wellness.
Cash, WIC and EBT accepted.
