Lewiston – Laura Bosse, 102, formerly of 62 Biron Ave., died Monday, July 10, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, where she resided for the past 18 months.

She was born in Granitevilly, Vt., on June 6, 1904, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Amanda Belanger Beaulieu. She was educated in Canadian schools. She was married to Emile Bosse who died in 1959, and worked at Bates Mfg. Co. as a weaver prior to her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Cross Parish, Holy Cross Senior Citizens and L’Union St. Jean Baptiste D’Amerique.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and traveling.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeannette and her husband, Honore Breton, of Lewiston and Jacqueline Gilman of Lewiston; her grandchildren, Linda Fluker, Doris Whittier, Joline Lepage, Raymond Boucher, Susan Donovan and Lisa Williams; her great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Troy and Taylor Boucher, Michelle and Samantha McGrath, Norma-Jean and Emma Williams, Amanda Stevens, Samual Fluker, Stefanie and Tyler Whittier, Andrew and Allison Therrien; and her sister, Therese Doyon of Manchester, Conn.

She was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Leonard and Dorothy Lepage last December and January, and son-in-law, Roland Gilman; three sisters; and brothers.

The family wishes to thank the Rev. Daniel Greenleaf and the pastoral care team of Holy Cross Parish, the staff on 3 West at d’Youville Pavilion and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.
