TURNER – Graduation ceremonies for SAD 52 River Valley Adult Education and River Valley School were held June 16 at Leavitt Area High School auditorium.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate the success of the following students:

Adult Education: Kale Arsenault, Jeremy Austin, Raymond Bernier, Lynn Bouchard, Wesley buck, Natasha Burnham, Domenica Caiazzo, Devin Cloutier, Mathieu Coffin, Eric Crowley, Jason Daise, Joseph Dow, Stacey Emery, Kurtis Garland, Jennie Herrick, Jeffrey Hinkley, Michael Hoffman, Katherine Holt, Melissa Ingalls, Cloudia Jean, Joseph Levesque, Lawrence Macdaid, Peggy May, Jessika McGray, Shane Michaud, Brandon Pelletier, Christina Proctor, Trevor Smith, Bruce Taylor, Kelly Twitchell, Derrick Webb, Amber White, Heather White and Laura Wilson.

Many staff awards and scholarships were presented as follows: Tenacity to Natasha Burnham and Leann Laliberte; physical education, Andrew White; history, Eric Crowley, Jeffrey Hinkley and Leann Laliberte; English, Kelly Twitchell and Eric Melanson; science, Shane Michaud; art, Cloudia Jean.

Also, High GED Scores, Melissa Ingalls, Trevor Smith and Jennie Herrick; Courage to Grow, Melissa Ingalls; Junior Achievement, Amber and Christopher Barnaby and Dean Jessome.

State of Maine House Majority Leader Glenn Cummings was the keynote speaker. Musical selections were performed by Jerol Ellis, Wendi and John Hubbard. Refreshments were served in the cafe after graduation.
