AUBURN – Corinna M. Thomas, 88, a resident of 48 Wood St., Lewiston died Monday, July 10, at the Hospice House, with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren by her side.
She was born in Fort Kent, Dec. 4, 1917, the daughter of Victor and Agnes (Doustou) Pelletier. She moved to Lewiston as a young girl and was was employed in the local shoe industry, until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Eagles and Lewiston Senior Citizens. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include four sons, Roger Thomas and his wife, Hiroko, of Lewiston, Robert Thomas and his wife, Verna, of Hebron, Burton Thomas and his wife, Jean and Jerry Thomas and his wife, Linda, all of Lake Wales, Fla.; two daughters, Sylvia Mills and her husband, Colon, of Lake Wales, Fla. and Nancy Roy and her husband, Robert, of Durham.; one brother, George “Norm” Pelletier of Lewiston; one sister, Anita Plourde of Berlin, N.H.; 30 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Thomas in 1972.
