JAY – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated held Friday, July 7, for James C. Miller at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay preceded by prayers at Finley Funeral Home in Livermore Falls. Officiating was the Rev. Roger Chabot. Hymns were sung by the Resurrection Choir accompanied by Therese Therrien. Members of the military were represented by VFW, Post 3335, American Legion, Post 10 of Livermore Falls and Amvets, Post 33 of Jay. Firing Squad members were Richard Dupont, Capt., Richard Moreau, Neree Simoneau and David O. Smith. Colorguard members were Cleon Cook, Francis Therrien, Roland Therrien and Normand Chabot. Pallbearers were Palmer Hebert, Wayne Parker, Paul Chretien and David Belanger. Flag was presented to the family by Don LeSuer. Taps was played by Richard Dupont. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
