LEWISTON – Richard Bernier has been named campaign manager for the Committee to Elect Larry Lachance, who is seeking the open seat for District 73 in Lewiston.
Bernier is a retired teacher and principal who worked in the Lewiston School Department for 38 years. He later served on the Lewiston School Committee for two terms. Amy Lachance will serve as treasurer.
Also joining the Committee to Elect Larry Lachance are Phoebe Lowell and Normand Demers. Lowell has been the manager of SEARCH (Seek Elderly Alone Renew Courage and Hope), a program sponsored by Catholic Charities of Maine for over five years. She will act as an adviser on issues that concern the elderly. Demers is a retired president of Etonic Corp. and will act as an adviser for creating a friendlier business climate in the Lewiston area and the State.
