WISCASSET – NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Ken Schrader is coming to midcoast Maine on Saturday, July 15, for a return engagement at Wiscasset Raceway.

With NASCAR making its biannual visit to New Hampshire International Speedway, the veteran racer from Fenton, Mo., has agreed to return to Wiscasset.

The show is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. on Saturday, with Schrader holding a meet-and-greet autograph session with fans, followed by a full card of weekly racing action. Schrader will join the track’s headlining Late Model Sportsman division for heat race action and a 30-lap feature, where he will attempt to defend his 2005 victory.

Along with the regular weekly racing program, Wiscasset Raceway will finish the evening with a 50-lap Big Enduro.

Tickets to Saturday’s program are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $5 for children 6 to 10. Children 5 and under will be admitted free.
