AUBURN – S&D Sheet Metal Sharks rallied to knock off previously undefeated Melanson’s/Webber Ave. Club, 6-5, in recent Auburn Players League action at Pettengill Park. The Sharks trailed 3-0 and 5-1 before scoring five runs in the final three innings to pull off the victory. Moe Gauthier’s three-run blast fueled the uprising in the top of the sixth inning, and Nick Caouette scored the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh.

Oxford Hills Co-Ed

OXFORD – The Oxford Hills Co-Ed Softball league is sponsoring the Summer Sizzler One-Pitch tournament on July 21-22 at Oxford County Fairgrounds.
