LEWISTON – Ralph E. Waters, 68, of New Sharon, formerly of Cromwell, Conn., passed away surrounded by his loving family at Central Maine Medical Center on July 9, after a short illness.

He was born in Middletown, Conn., Nov. 29, 1937, the son of the late Emerson Ralph and Ally Teresa (Duckworth) Waters.

He leaves his wife of 48 years and the love of his life, Wanda (Granat) Waters of New Sharon; two precious daughters, Sheri and Gary Taylor of New Sharon and Linda and Al Koch of Connecticut; niece, Sheila and Bob Oates of Connecticut; six loving grandchildren, Wanda and Philip Schiche and Kenny Taylor, all of Maine and Nicole Taylor and Kayce and Steven Koch and great-grandson, Stephen Fulner, all of Connecticut; and many other dear friends and family members.

He was predeceased by a sister, Julia Carroll.
