LEWISTON – Cleo LeBrun, 101, of 86 Ash St., Lewiston, died Thursday, July 13, at the Montello Manor Nursing Home.

She was born in Waterville on April 13, 1905, the daughter of Wilfred and Mary Veillieux Blais. She was married to Wilfred “Brownie” LeBrun, who passed away in 1963. A member of Holy Family Parish, she was a Gold Star Mother and loved spending summers at her camp on Wilson Pond in Turner. A talented seamstress, she also enjoyed crochet and gardening.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Normand Pare and wife, Jacqueline, of Minot, whom she thought of more as a son than a nephew; her dear friend, Pauline Ouellette and her family of Auburn.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Wilfred and Maurice; a daughter, Dolores Beaudoin; a brother, Wilfred Blais; and three sisters, Grace Croteau, Laura Beauchesne, and Albia Pare.
