BEDFORD, N.H. (AP) – Executives at a California-based software company have high hopes that its New Hampshire operation will grow next year.

Chordiant Software Inc. moved the operation from Manchester to a larger space in Bedford last year to accommodate a staff that expanded from 40 to nearly 100. Chris Hall, Chordiant’s vice president of marketing, says the Bedford office might double in size again next year.

The company makes software for banks, credit card- and insurance companies. It has more than 300 employees worldwide. Bedford is the second-largest of its four U.S. regional offices.

The Cupertino, Calif., company’s stock trades on the NASDAQ market, where the share price was up 13 cents to $2.65 early Monday afternoon.
