LOUISVILLE, Ky. – William J. “Bill” Mynahan, 88, of Louisville, Ky., passed away Thursday, July 13, at Treyton Oak Nursing Center.

Bill was a native of Lewiston. In 1982, he retired as resident manager of the Frankfort Division of National Distillers.

He was a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, the American Chemical Society and was a graduate of Bates College in Lewiston. He was a former member of the South Park Country Club, the Iroquois Civic Club and was a charter member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Ruth H. LeBourdais; a son, William D. Mynahan; a daughter, Pamela M. Utley and husband, Tim; grandchildren, William Andrew Mynahan, Leonard Jerome Mynahan and John Utley; brother, Maurice Mynahan; sisters, Phyllis Theberge and Eleanor Bruce; and many loving nieces and nephews.
