SOUTH PARIS – Faith May (Brown) Brown, 87, of Bethel, died at Market Square Health Care in South Paris on Wednesday, July 19.

She was born June 22, 1919, the daughter of Benjamin and Rose (Billings) Brown and was educated in local schools.

Faith was a homemaker most of her life.

She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church and the Women’s Guild of the church.

She had been an active Girl Scout leader, was a member of the Bethel Historical Society and enjoyed seamstress work, knitting, crocheting and gardening.

Faith is survived by two daughters, Vivian Brown Howard and her husband, Peter, of Bridgton, and Julia Brown Bennett and her husband, Jim, of Northfield, Vt.; and four grandchildren, Jill Beals of Kennebunk, Debra Roy of Bridgton, Leslie Greenburg of Silver Spring, Md., and Jason Bennett of Fort Kent.
