GREENE – Roland Chaput, 67, of Greene died Tuesday, July 18, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 6, 1938, the son of Urick and Mary Chaput.

He worked for many years in the local shoe industry and later for Pete Bolduc Moving Co.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Chaput of Greene, Tom Chaput of Canton, and Chuck Hilton of Lewiston; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by several brothers and one sister.
