BOWDOINHAM (AP) – Three suspects, including the son of a Maine Army National Guard medic killed in Iraq, have been arrested in connection with a holdup last week at a credit union in Bowdoinham.

Authorities identified the three as Christopher Kelly, 25, of Bowdoinham, Nolan Morton, 21, of Bath and a 15-year-old juvenile from Brunswick.

Kelly’s father, Staff Sgt. Dale Kelly Jr., was killed in May by a roadside bomb.

No injuries were reported Friday when two males wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces entered the Bowdoinham Federal Credit Union, told a teller they had a bomb, demanded money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

State police said some of the stolen money was recovered.
