NORWAY – Maine songwriter Mary “Ukelady” Hargreaves will be the host and featured performer of this month’s Norway Open Mic Night, Friday, July 28, at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St.

Sign-up for performers starts at 6:30 p.m., and the evening begins around 7 p.m.; $3 at the door; refreshments will be available.

Known to her fans as “Mary Uke,” Hargreaves will be celebrating the release of her debut CD, titled “Love is Strong.”

Hargreaves presents a repertoire of original songs in styles ranging from folk and bluegrass to soft blues and ballads.
