bethel – The Yankee Brass Band, under the direction of Paul Maybery, will perform a public concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Bethel Historical Society.

The 25-member ensemble, presented by the Friends of the Yankee Brass Inc., will re-create a historically accurate American Brass Band circa 1850-70, performing music of the era on original instruments of the period.

Performances by the Yankee Brass Band include popular music, classical presentations, and novelties.
