ELLSWORTH- Dyana Detour singled home Nicole Murphy in the top of the second inning for the game’s only run to give Orrington a 1-0 win over Auburn Suburban at the 11-12 year old girls’ state softball tourney Friday.

The game was called after four innings due to weather.

Kayla Nadeau (0-1) went the distance for Auburn Suburban (1-1) allowing four hits. Kelsey Simpson (1-0) picked up the win.

The teams play five games in a round-robin format.

Auburn Suburban defeated Falmouth by a 4-3 score Thursday.
