NORWAY – The Rev. Don Mayberry, chairman of the Western Maine Health Board, presented two retiring Stephens Memorial Hospital radiologists with chairs on June 28 as part of reception honoring the two longtime physicians.

Edwin Krajci, M.D. was appointed to SMH in 1982. Joseph Alexander was appointed to SMH in 1987. Both were honored for their dedication to patients, and their long service to the hospital by Dr. Rebecca Chagrasulis, president of the medical staff, and Dr. Reynold Villedrouin, a fellow radiologist, as well as by Mayberry.

Krajci and his family will relocate to Maryland in the fall. Alexander spends summers in Maine and winters in Florida.
