AUBURN – The families of Valerie Schechter and Brian Arel are pleased to announce their upcoming marriage.
Miss Schechter is the daughter of Caryl Lightfoot of Los Angeles, Calif., and Joel Schechter also of Los Angeles, Calif. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and is owner of Just Gardens in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Mr. Arel is the son of James and Suzanne Arel of Auburn and is a 1985 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 1988 graduate of SMVTI (now SMCC). He is co-owner and project manager of Fair and Square Construction Company in Steamboat Springs, Colo.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 30 of this year in Steamboat Springs, Colo., where they reside.
