DIXFIELD – Town Manager Jeff Jacobson has been given a $1,330 pay raise by the Board of Selectmen, bringing his annual salary to $39,330.

The vote came after an executive session to evaluate his performance.

“He’s working out well,” said Chairman Tony Carter. “We identified a few things to work on.”

Carter said Jacobson may receive another raise after the next evaluation in October.

Jacobson began his job Jan. 17. The Minnesota native is serving as a town administrative leader for the first time.

Dixfield’s last full-time town manager was Nanci Allard, who was earning $42,000 annually when she left in June 2005.
