AUBURN – A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday for Irene J. Morin at Sacred Heart Church after prayers from Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Frank Murray celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at the internment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Readers at Mass were granddaughter Caitlin Knight, stepdaughter, Kelly Metayer, and nephew, John Lacharite. The offertory was brought to the altar by granddaughters, Sarah and Shirley Paladino. Irene’s Crucifix and Bible were placed on the pall at church by great-granddaughter, Michelle Morin-Levesque, and Cassie Ferguson. The pallbearers were all grandchildren of Irene, Eddy Morin III, James Doughty, Stefan Paladino, Sheila Doughty, Kristy Morin, and Shawn Morin. A reception of fellowship followed the committal at Govenor’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center.
