Churches gather

WILTON – A gathering of members from the Wilton United Methodist Church, Eaton Memorial Methodist Church, the Livermore Methodist Church and Bartlett Memorial Methodist Church will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at Kineowatha Park.

Music, children’s games, food and fellowship are planned for the day-long event at the senior citizens’ building in the park.

Anyone attending should bring a chair. Each of the churches has been assigned to bring specific items for the gathering.

Kickoff day

WILTON – United Way of the Tri-Valley Area will hold its annual kickoff at the Blueberry Festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4.

There will be hot dogs and water for sale throughout the day.
