LEWISTON – Jeannette F. Dubois, 83, of Auburn, died Monday, July 24, at Central Maine Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 8, 1923, the daughter of Leon and Laura Fournier. She was educated in Lewiston schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite time was watching her grandson grow from a little boy into manhood.

Her hobbies included watching the Red Sox, knitting, crocheting, and scratching lottery tickets. On Jan. 12, 1944, she married Joseph Dubois.

She is survived by her husband of Auburn; her daughter, Anita Thurman and husband, Michael, of Topsham; her grandson, Jason Thurman and wife, Tracey, of Blue Mound, Ill.; her sister-in-law, Lauretta Campbell and husband, James, of Lisbon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Irene Nadeau, Julie Richards, Yvonne Labbe and Grace Fournier; and two brothers, Lucien and Henry Fournier.
