Flower show

ANDOVER – The 55th annual Flower Show will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Andover Historical Society Building. Entries will be received between 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4. Doors will be closed during judging. Entries must be picked up between 4 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Awards will be given for first, second, third and honorable mention, best of show and judges’ award. All decisions are final and the judges may withhold awards at their discretion.

Categories include arrangement in basket, white flower, song title or poem, wildflowers, arrangement in wooden container or one using herbs and grasses, cup and saucer, mug arrangements, 12 years and younger/your choice; in memory of someone special, houseplants, arrangements by professionals. Professionals may enter in three categories only, but are not eligible for the best of show award.
